Jose Puig: Painter, illustrator, designer.
The artist was born in Gandia (Valencia) en 1944,
Spain in 1944.
He got his professional formation in Germany
were he lived from 1961 to 1996 before he
came back to his native town.
His journeys to different European and American
countries gave a decisive note to the different styles of
his paintings always dominated by his inspiration.
So it is not strange to find impressionistic,
abstract or surrealistic influences in his paintings.
Many of the artist´s oil paintings and watercolours
can be found in different countries (expositions or private
properties) for instance: USA, South Korea, Namibia
South Africa, Germany, Spain etc.
At the moment José Puig realizes several oil paintings
on canvas at the church Santa María Magdalena in
Gandía, Valencia in Spain.
